21st century recruiters, both corporate and third-party, must be subject matter experts on an ever-increasing slate of issues, including: networking virtually and locally, navigating technology, identifying candidates, managing vendors, building partnerships with hiring managers, consulting on selection process best practices and law, and assessing candidates using scientific methods.
