Re-engineering Recruitment
The company is opening a new office. It's time to post the jobs! Call the newspaper, hang a "now hiring" sign in the window, sit back, relax, and wait for the resumes to roll in, right? Wrong! The day when companies filled openings by "accepting applications" is long past.

21st century recruiters, both corporate and third-party, must be subject matter experts on an ever-increasing slate of issues, including: networking virtually and locally, navigating technology, identifying candidates, managing vendors, building partnerships with hiring managers, consulting on selection process best practices and law, and assessing candidates using scientific methods. This track will focus on the management of the recruiter's workload, and will present strategic and tactical actions to both function and manage in this climate.

Welcome to the future- the domain of the virtual recruiter. These individuals are often the most experienced candidates in the marketplace with mature and fruitful networks. They are typically more productive because of limited distractions. Since most recruiting is done on the web and on the phone, virtual recruiters are both scalable and don't require facilities space or expense. Even clients can't place "where' the recruiters work thanks to major advances in web-based technology. We'll discuss what role virtual recruiters can play in your organization in this webcast.
