Most organizations leverage their employees' networks of friends and family to recruit. Experts believe that 30-40% of all external hires should come from referral programs. With the rising use of social technology, companies are extending their old referral programs outside of just employees to include anyone who knows a good candidate - also known as: Talent Scouts.

Sports teams, music labels, and the film industry have used scouts to source talent for decades. Sure, they rely on current and former employees to be their "feet on the street", but they also utilize an extensive external network to help them land great candidates. This track looks at the best examples of these programs, how they were set up, how they are maintained, their success and what innovations are occurring in this area.

The statistics around the number of hires inside of an organization from the source of an employee referral can be staggering. Recruiters are trained to ask for referrals and to expedite a referral from a great employee. But how can you mobilize every employee in your organization to do the same- regardless of job function or level?

Identifying great candidates could be a simple process if everyone in your organization was devoted to achieve the same goal. Aligning talent needs from the c-suite down requires the right messaging and motivation. In this webcast, we'll hear some creative best practices on getting the whole team to participate in your employee referral program.
